I'm Hungry, Mother
This is how Alayna shows us she wants a snack. (This is the door to the pantry that holds the snacks.) There are usually verbal clues as well, such as panting and grunting when she stands at the door like this. Once the door is opened, she almost always reaches for the animal crackers, aka "kaw-kaw." She has also learned to sign "more", "please", and "thankyou" and will happily sign all three in rapid succession in exchange for a "kaw-kaw."
